APS France obtains two significant projects
APS France has obtained the contracts for two significant projects in which the GRP Flowtite piping systems will be implemented thus showing the everincreasing interest existing between the local contractors and the city halls.
The first project consists in supplying a 1500 metre-long piping which will be used in order to extinguish fires in an IKEA logistics centre near Marseilles. APS France has gained the contract against two large competitors that manufacture steel pipes. The piping which includes the tube as well as over 50 fittings in diameter DN700 mm with a pressure capacity of PN 16 and a stiffness SN5000 will be installed underground.
The supply began in late September 2008.
The second project consists in installing a conduit in diameter DN 2400 mm to channel rain water in the city of Angoulême in the south-west of France. APS France has obtained the contract by convincing the city council of the massive assets offered by the GRP Flowtite pipings for this type of applications. The initial option based on concrete has eventually been replaced.
Between October and December APS France will supply over 350 m of GRP Flowtite piping without pressure, with rigidity of SN 5000 which will come with special fittings.

APS France visits the production factory in Spain with its clients
Leschel et Millet, Sogéa, TPCF, BATIGNOLLES, SCAM, MTP MERIGNAC are the clients who have visited throughout this year the GRP Flowtite production factory which is located in Camarles (Spain). They have attended technical lectures about the product as well as Quality tests in the laboratory and they have also visited the premises.
APS France thinks it is an excellent initiative for our clients to realise the reliability of our product and to make us know in the market. The Flowtite products have been granted the most significant certification in Drinking Water (ACS) and also the CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du bâtiment – Technical and Scientifc Construction Centre) certification which proves our commitment to the quality of our products and factories as well as to the constant improvement.
